Finish Head Wood Screws

The PICO™ Finish screw is a slim fastener yet engineered for good holding power. The extra sharp Drill Cut Tip cuts wood fibers and reduces splitting of board edges. The self-tapping thread cuts effectively through materials such as wood, plastic, and sheet metal. The wide threads provide a strong connection, while the reverse threads help pull down fibers. The tiny head stays out of sight for a clean, professional finish. Fits with most concealed mounting tools. White Head available.

Available in General Exterior Coated, Stainless Steel, and 316 Stainless Steel.

Tiny Finish Head™

The tiny finishwork head has been specifically engineered to be almost invisible when installed without compromising the strength of the head or screw. The head size fits with concealed mounting tools.

Reverse threads™

The reverse threads help to pull down debris and work perfectly together with the small head size to create a clean finish.

Drill Cut Tip

Engineered to cut wood fibers more efficiently, this design reduces splitting, especially near board edges. The sharp edges of the tip slices through wood fibers while minimizing the driving torque needed to engage the wood.

For jobs where concealing the fastener is important, these screws are engineered to fit most concealed fastening tools.

Available Coatings

ZYTEC™ GX

Tested and recognized for use in most ground contact pressure-treated lumber for general exterior construction as described by the American Wood Protection Association (AWPA) U1 UC4A or below. For environments above UC4A, use proper grade of stainless steel. Always assess the environment before selecting the type of coated fastener. Some corrosive environments, including exposure to water, airborne salt, chemicals, and pressure-treated lumber rated above AWPA UC4A may cause early failure.

Stainless Steel AISI 316

316 Stainless Steel is code compliant for use in marine environments with saltwater splash, airborne salts, and areas with de-icing salts.

Stainless Steel

The stainless steel is either AISI 302, 304, or 305 and is code compliant for use with ground contact pressure-treated lumber in wet environments such as near freshwater lakes and rivers, and for use in redwood and cedar.
