Furthermore, it is equipped with Twin Blades to ensure minimum friction. Underneath the head of the screw you will find Locking Wedges allowing the screw to countersink incredibly with maximum contact into the wood.

Our NOVA™ General Exterior Structural Lag Screw has following quite special features:

Fast Start Tip™

Allows it to have a prompt grip as it includes sharp threads going all the way to the tip of the screw. Furthermore, the thread cut inserted greatly reduces any splitting effect and helps minimize the driving torque necessary to engage the wood.

Horizon Curve™

A subtle curvature of the head of the screw allowing it to provide professional and elegant architectural results. The Finish Ring positioned underneath the head likewise administers a refined finish result as it cuts the top fibers in the wood taking an extra step in countersinking.

Twin Blades™

A set of knurls that cutfast to dramatically reduce heat and friction occurring on the shank while lessening the load on the drill. Furthermore, Twin Blades™ grant an outshining performance as they remove debris much faster than a typical knurl of a fastener. Patents pending.

Locking Wedges

The locking wedges of the screw are exceptional to mill and countersink the head into the wood leaving a clean and professional finish. Furthermore, they help lock the head into place and prevents unwanted movement that could have occurred in the future.
